SUCH a fun coffee shop. I popped in here with my boyfriend just before a football game and the coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches were all so good. They have a fun selection of Filipino cookbooks and other items to buy. Filipino food/flavor is so good! Try this place out. Friendly staff!

My friend and I came here for coffee drinks and we were not disappointed. Love the Seattle Filipino food scene. We had the calamansi espresso tonic and the matcha lilokoi. Both drinks were acidic with a sparkling component. I'd never had sparkling coffee but it was surprisingly super pleasant! The drinks have a sweetness but not overly sweet. I got 100% sugar and my friend got 50%, but we both agreed even at 100% the drinks were not very sweet in a good way. My friend also got a quiche that was nice and flaky. I wished we had gotten some baked goods because they all look divine!

This place is so aesthetic for study vibes and coffee dates. The desserts definitely put it to the top for me. The drinks were good but sometimes the ube latte or the pandan latte would be overpowered by the coffee taste but the cheesecake, the flan, all the baked goodies that sell out super fast made up for it. If you are tryna get some good desserts - make sure you go early because there definitely won't be Much left if you wait till noon!

Masarap is the Tagalog word for delicious and it is all the we could say in between mouthfuls of the food we had today! The arroz caldo was luscious and comforting. No need to add anything because the chef took special care to season it well and added some toppings to balance not just the flavor but also give it contrasting textures. Crispy garlic and the crunchy fried chicken skin played so well with the rice cooked to perfection. The slivers of green scallions added not just a hint of spice but also freshness. The sous vide egg on top was simply perfect! They added calamansi juice (Philippine lime) to complete the flavors and it transported us to our kitchens in the Philippines when Lola or Mommy would cook arroz caldo for rainy days or when we were feeling under the weather. I sampled the vegan version with mushroom and it was equally delicious! Masarap talaga! The tapsilog (tapa, sinangag - fried rice- and egg) and longsilog (longganisa patties, fried rice and egg) were great and seasoned perfectly. We ended our meal with their signature ube cheesecake and a slice of carrot cake. They are worth the calories! They paired really well with our latte and ube latte with oatmilk . A perfect way to end a perfect meal! Although the food was great, I must say that the service with its Filipino brand of hospitality was what will keep you coming back and bringing your family and friends to this friendly restaurant. The vibe is upbeat and the playlist and volume of the music allowed for conversation to take place. Kudos and Mabuhay (long live) to everyone at Hood Famous!

Fine spot for Filipino food in downtown Seattle, we didn't have any of the regular food, but we tried the desserts, had the Ube cheesecake, which they're famous for, and kid you not, my eyes rolled back as soon as the scrumptious vheese cake touched my tongue, it was an explosion of flavors, only trying it could explain. We also tried the Buko pie(fresh coconut pie) which was also delectable. For drinks we tried the fresh Kalamansi lemonade and I had the kalamansi-espresso tonic. Service was amazing considering it was a busy day, and loved the chill vibe they're going for, also enjoyed the trinkets they sell. A must visit to this spot.

Came to Hood Famous on our last morning and it certainly added that last exclamation to our trip. I LOVED the interior! It reminded me of south east Asia down to the sign for kapé. I had the longaniza breakfast sandwich which had an excellent combination of sweet, savory, sour, and richness in every bite. The sandwich was also not too greasy and the perfect size for a hearty breakfast. Pair that with a special latte and mmm, yes, perfect American breakfast classic with that kiss of Asian flavor. Boyfriend had the rice porridge and commented that it was soul warming. While he wasn't the biggest fan of the vinegar, he did compliment the cook on the poached egg and the tenderness of the chicken. His jasmine tea latte was also super floral and an A+ in my book. Staff was very friendly and I also enjoyed looking at some of the merch they had on the side. You should definitely try Hood Famous whilst in Seattle!

The interior is super aesthetic, and they offer a wide variety of Asian snacks, collectibles, and more. I ordered the iced pandan latte, ube cheesecake, and corn muffin. Pandan Latte: the cashier mentioned that their drinks aren't too sweet, so I only asked for less ice and kept everything else default. It was great--balanced, flavorful, not overly sweet, and has that subtle pandan taste. I'd definitely order this again. Corn Muffin: very sweet, but I didn't mind. The flavor got a bit tiring after a while, so I ate half at the cafe and saved the rest for later. It had a generous amount of corn pieces. Ube Cheesecake: my least favorite item. It had a very strong cheesecake flavor with a hint of ube. Overall, I loved the ambiance and look forward to returning to try more drinks and menu items!

Hood Famous is a Filipino-American bakery with phenomenal pastries, drinks, and breakfasts. I've had very fond memories of Hood Famous as we would have their cheesecakes brought to family dinners, and it was always a fun time trying out the flavors. However, I never had the pleasure of checking out the actual location until now. Conventiently located next to the Chinatown Link Station, it was easy to find and access. During this visit, we got the Champorado Cream Puff, chocolate rice pudding folded with whipped cream and garnished with salted fish. We also tried the Beef Mechado Pocket, basically a savory Filipino beef stew in a pastry pocket. Both SO GOOD. Please do yourself a favor and try these if you are on the fence. I will definitely be back on my next visit to try different things. Despite the cold and drizzly weather, Hood Famous is warm and comforting. It was spacious with big windows and thoughtfully decorated. There's plenty of seating, but it was quite busy and almost every chair was occupied. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. It was such a vibe, I will for sure be back.

Wow what a find. You'd never know this place is a bakery and cafe from its name, but it is indeed both. Located right off of the Chinatown/international district stop of the Link, it was quite busy when I stopped by on a Sunday morning but no line to order thankfully. We tried the chocolate cream puff and beef pocket. The cream puff had an exterior reminiscent of the Mexican bread and a light chocolate mousse on the inside. The beef pocket was the highlight for me. Imagine a beef pot pie wrapped up in a puff pastry. The beef was unbelievably tender and the whole package was crispy, creamy, and sensational. The vibe inside was cool and casual. The space felt cozy and inviting with one side being the bakery and the other side being the drinks. As a nonlocal, I will definitely work this spot into my itinerary on my next trip.
